New Book

This term for English, we have to read a book about the history of something. Not able to come up with any other successful finds of books on things I like, I decided to use basketball. The book i found is "Hot Potato :How Washington and New York gave birth to black basketball and changed America's game forever". Its written by Bob Kuska and is about the coming out of black professional basketball players into the all white league.

Although this isn't the topic I wanted to read about, its still and interesting book. I always wondered how the color barrier was broken in sports. In some ways, the introduction of blacks into basketball helped break the color barriers off the court too.

Until my next entry,
Deuces.
